November 2019
Cultivated over almost a year, from sticky notes to random pages, to even a greasy napkin, nj pieces together the puzzle of love and heartbreak.
This was my first collection of poetry I created. I had always thought of love as this romanticized thing. I thought being single was a fate worse than death and would have loved anyone who loved me back. My first relationship I definitely fell in the trap of just focusing on craving that reciprocal love. The breakup was messy and it left me with a lot of learned lessons.
I had written a lot of poetry before, during, and after the relationship that I then collected together to form this book.
Or, read the collection here with a Foreword from 2024.
